Since the lease on the Al-Ikhlas Centre facility expires at the end of July, the Trust board has decided not to renew at this current time as we refocus our key objectives.  This decision was based on thorough review of running functions and activities and goals and objectives we need to address closely to keep Al-Ikhlas key objectives in the frontline of our priorities. 

The Centre will no longer operate at that location from beginning of August 2012 onwards - details of the new locations for existing programmes will be notified in due course.

It is also important to know that because of this situation Al-Ikhlas Trust was not in position to be organising or hosting programmes for Ramadhan or Eid-ul-Fitr this year.  We maintained our role in collecting and distributing Zakaatul-Fitr, and are still collecting and distributing regular Zakaat on an ongoing basis.
